Do people really need this.  We used to do these exercising with a chair or just the belt standing up.  I started doing exercising years ago, 62 to be exact and we did not have all this stuff they sell now, just used our bodies.

To me and that is just me, it's a waste of money.

Don't want to offend anyone, but watching it made me shake my head.  Maybe I'm missing something.

Enlighten me if I'm wrong.

This to me is a strange contraption. It would not make me feel confident since there are no handle bars to help with balance.

@qvcaddition

I know absolutely nothing about Fitbit. I have never owned one or even used one. Have seen a couple on ice skaters I have talked with, but that's about the extent of it when it comes to this product.

There a very few, if any, exercises that I have done over many decades, where I do not improvise them to better suit me. To me most of them are basic movements and I change the to a pattern that i feel better suits me and my goals.

I have bought many machines along with other things to better suit my body, and its parts, that i feel work better for my structure/limits, and to better accomplish my purpose of using them.

Like most, i have bought things that turned out to be a zero, for me. Waste of money? I wouldn't go quite that far. But unnecessary? Yes.

As usual I could expand on this, but think this is enough to express my feelings on what I do and do not buy into.

@qvcaddition    Besides consumables such as food and fuel, how much of what we buy is dictated by actual need?
I can't put it into a percentage, but if I started to keep track of all my purchases, I think I would see a large percentage fall into wants rather than needs.

Is that a bad thing?

While nobody needs any exercise equipment if it will help someone workout better than that is great.  I have found some exercise equipment that I really like to use even though I could work certain body parts without them.  If I do not enjoy doing them I probably won't do them much and if that piece of workout equipment makes it more enjoyable then well worth the money.   What works is what matters!

The first thing I said to myself when I saw this thing was people who buy this contraction have more money than brains.

I'm no expert but it amuses me that anyone would consider this stool an "exercise device".  I know I'd be bored with it after about 5 minutes as it's so limited in scope.  Sit on it and twirl back and forth and you're a new, fit woman?  I think not.

Many purchases we make are not out of need but as a way to improve one's life. Some do  and some go by the wayside.  If a person watches and listens to the sell long enough they will be motivated and believe it will do the trick for them.  But as many exercise equipment purchases go, they will get used for a while and used less and less, unless it really suits a person and they may stick with it.  I think they try to put a small gym together so you have everything you need in one item.  Looking at the reviews on the other Fitcube the negatives were along the lines of difficult to use because of having balance issues.  Not for seniors or if you have joint issues and would be good for a young energetic person.

Need it? I don't care, it's their money so I don't need to be enlightened. As far as more money than brains that another poster mentioned, here's my gripe...hairdos driving SUVs they can't handle, I've been driven into a curb 3 times this month because they can't maintain their lane.
