This is Day #2 with my Fitbit Zip.
Yesterday was the day I do XFit with my trainer...I was too tired afterward to do any treadmill time.
Today I did my 3x weekly 60 minutes on an elevated treadmill...then a cool down and a trip to Target.
When I came home and synched with my laptop...everything was perfectly documented.
I already have my 10,000 steps for the day finished. The FitBot sent me a congratulatory e-mail too...it's like having a best friend to work out with!
Does anyone else have one of the FitBit systems? Reviews please!

What is the difference between them?

Yes I agree. It is motivating. It is like a friend to me! I lost my Fit Bit last Monday at the mall when I went to get a hair cut. It fell off my belt.... guess you can not depend on the clip..... I realized it when I go home. So so sad... I emailed their customer service and told them about my loss, and asked if they would have any type of coupon to go towards purchase of another as the fit bit was like a walking partner since my double knee replacement last June. Well low and behold they wanted to send me out a new one for free and it is on its way. I am so happy!!! Great customer service. I will be sure to really make sure I never put it anywhere but my bra from now on.

The Flex was perfect for me because I never took it off, just wore it on my wrist 24/7 and took it off only to recharge every 5 days or so. The new one (forget what it's called, but there were issues) is like the Flex but has a screen. On 3/7/2014 Happy Elizabeth said: Love love love Fitbit! I have the One and the Flex. I use the Fitbit Force and I love it!

I use the Fitbit One and really like it. It definitely motivates me to be more active during my day in addition to my regular workouts.
I love the ""almost there"" & WTG you did it! & Overachiever!! notices.
I wear my One at the center of my bra with the clip part out. It is on securely but if it were to come off it would be more likely to fall into my bra than out.

I got a FitBit Force for Christmas and I really like it. There is a voluntary recall on the Force because some people have gotten a skin reaction on their wrist they wear it on. I have sensitive skin and was really worried, but I haven't had any issues. I only charge it about once every 2 weeks and it charges quickly. I like that the app warns me when the battery is low and gives me plenty of time before it runs out. The strap was tricky to close the first few times, but now that I know how to do it and that I won't break it, it's very easy.
It sends a weekly summary email to track results, as well as the regular app and web page that show live results. I was sick for a while and didn't wear it for about a week and joked with a friend that my FitBit email would be super depressing or just say "We fear the user has died." It's good about tracking my steps, even if my arm is steady, like if I'm pushing a grocery cart around. Since it tracks sleep and I've work it at night, it has freaked me out when I woke up and it said I went 80 steps and all I did was walk to the bathroom, but then I remember that it resets the day at midnight, so if you are up late or get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, those steps count. When I used it on a Gazelle-type machine, it tracked my steps but did not track them as active minutes. (Like somehow I managed to go 1000 steps without being at all active.)
It has motivated me to change my behavior, which is what I'd hoped for. I take the stairs more (the Force tracks stairs climbed by the flight) and sometimes park further away or get up and walk around the room or pull out my Gazelle while I'm watching TV.
I also have several other apps I use it in conjunction with, like Motion X, which monitors my sleep and uses my phone's motion detector to remind me when it's been inactive for 60 minutes. That reminds me that I should get up and refill a water bottle, go talk to someone instead of sending an IM, or go walk around the office for a few minutes. I also use fitness games like The Walk and Zombies, Run! to help motivate me to be more active.

Mine is the Jawbone Up. Love it! It's a kind of flex bracelet that syncs with my iPad and also monitors sleep. Don't even know it's on. Very motivating. I use the "alarm" which is a vibration, every 15 minutes to remind me to move while I'm working. You can also sync with various nutirtion apps, but since those look at calories and I am currently using WW PointsPlus it would be too confusing. Anyway, highly recommend!
