Re: Fit Bit sizing question...

There were two sizes, S (small) and L (Large).

The TSV came with 3 fitbit bands. This is not an issue because if you ordered a Small, you would get a large in the package. Please read. Rick discussed this numerous times. He just didn't discuss why the sizes where done that way...which was the size of the extra third band.

If you got the Small in the Black/lime green color.

You got a Small and Large Band in Black. (So don't worry, you also got a large). In addition, the lime green color band is in Small. That's the difference. The extra color is going to be in the size you ordered.

If you got a Small in the pink/black option. You would get a SMALL and a LARGE PINK Bank and a small black band.

If you large in the black/lime color. You would receive a Large and a Small in the Black Bank and a Large in the lime band.

If you got a large in the pink/black color. You would receive a large and small in the pink band and a large in the black color.

I understand what you are saying DogLvr and know that I will receive both sizes. But it really isn't that great a deal if I ordered the small (I did) and can only wear the large. I watched many of the presentations throughout the day and never heard anyone telling what the overall length was, did you? I listened to Rick and heard him explain in detail, but I still don't think it was clearly addressed. I would like to know if the small is 6.5 from end to end or if there is room built into the length for adjustment. If it is 6.5 from end to end then I need to size up. Does that make sense? Maybe I am not explaining my point clearly. {#emotions_dlg.mellow}

Re: Fit Bit sizing question...

I will wait for a few more responses, but I think I should call CS and size up. Thanks everyone.

Re: Fit Bit sizing question...

There are additional holes, not just one hole. The large is meant for a man with larger wrists. Unless you are a larger woman, or someone with a large wrist, I wouldn't worry.

Why don't you call customer service before the item ships out and ask this specific question.

Or why don't you go somewhere, where this product is sold and try it on? Target is one location and there are others...Best Buy...

I like the recommendation to try it on at Target, etc. Otherwise, you will be put on the 7/31 waitlist most likely.

Re: Fit Bit sizing question...

I just called CS and the rep couldn't tell me any more than we already knew. I am still thinking about sizing up. Thanks for your thoughts ladies. My Target is about 20 miles away so it just doesn't seem worth the trip. Yeah. Sizing up is probably my best option.

My wrist is a tiny bit smaller than 6.5 inches and I wear the small and I have a little room left. I think you are ok.

I sure hope so Mima. This is one thing that they really didn't address too much during the presentations. I wonder if there will be enough room to clasp. Do you know how long yours measures end to end?

Yes there is enough room to clasp. Mine is loose enough that it isn't hot and it doesn't bother me. I mean, my wrist is a tiny fraction smaller than 6.5. I would never want the large size. I got both with mine and the large is way too big and clunky.

I also wish they would have addressed this. I kept thinking they should say something like -- "you need to make sure this fits tightly because it's imperative that the [device] touch your skin and remain in constant contact with your skin in order to work properly." I never heard whether it was important to have it fit snug or not.

Agree. In addition, I need to know if there is enough room for overlap or if it is a straight 6.5 total length. If it is, I need to change the size that I ordered. Think CS would know any more?

Please read what I wrote so you understand the sizing.

Since both sizes in both colors are available, you can change the sizing by calling customer service ASAP.

Yes, we all heard that, but why order an additional bracelet in the wrong size if it can be helped? The point was that they should have told us if it was okay to wear a loose, dangly bracelet-fitting device, or if it must be snug to your wrist. That was important info that got left out of the presentation.
