Boy its a lot harder now at 52 than it was at 42. I am using myfitnesspal, praised before{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}, now looking forward to the next 10. Setting 10 lb increments. (40 total) I started March 9, been 10 weeks. Hopefully coming off slow will help the lifestyle change. I have always exercised; I just needed to pick wiser choices and smaller portions, not eat when bored or tired.

Hi,

Sounds like you have the right attitude. Congratulations on your weight loss. I wish you success. I know how hard it is as I am older than you and my weight fluctuates each day. There are days that I get so defeated but my husband is so supportive and encourages me to go to the gym so I continue to go. But it seems since I have gotten older, the weight comes on with every little thing I eat. It never used too be that way as I could eat what I wanted, then it changed and I had to exercise but as long as I exercised, I kept it off but now, I just have to look at food, and the scale goes up. I wish you luck and please keep us all posted. Just be consistent and continue exercising. Walking is great too and I try to do that each day.

Congratulations. Keep at it. you'll never want to go back. Treat yourself to something nice (smaller size) as a reward.

WTG!

Sounds like you've got a good plan! It really does make a difference when you concentrate on what you are doing & focus on the lifestyle changes instead of the scale. Thaat has been a big part of my success, too.
