Final update on Makoplasty knee surgery

Today is 18 days since my surgery. I have met all my goals for PT and they have discharged me. Yesterday I was able to walk - pushing a cart - the entire way around Publics grocery store and then after a rest while we ate lunch we went to a farmers market . I came home and iced the knee down and it did not swell up significantly and it did not hurt at all. I am much ,more limited by the other knee that still needs surgery. The incisions are all healed weell. the shin pain went away as fast as it came - what ever was causing that! all in all - i would say if you need knee surgery to at least look into this procedure because it is so much simpler than the TKR.
