I am sure part of the expense is the onslaught of tv commercials they have...I see them constantly. DH’s cardiologist said he had patients clamoring for it even if they didn’t need it. Looks like the advertising works. DH doesn’t take it.

The price must come down if no one can afford to buy it...even insurance companies have a limit. One of my meds was $1200 a month...30 pills....my part was $215....when the patent expired and a generic was available, it was $4.35. Now the name brand one is $43.84. Shysters!
