I think I'm Madonna's age. How is she looking these days, because I might be able to delude myself too?

We can stay in denial a long time. Because Racquel Welch 73, Jane Fonda 76, and Debbie Reynolds 81 are still looking great, but the are old.

My dad isn't old...he's 66; he will be 67 in March. Unfortunately, he probably won't see 68. So I am now just slightly older than my father's "middle age" (33 1/2), at the age of 35. If you are fortunate enough to live into your 70s, 80s or 90s...please try to think of all the things you would've missed if you hadn't. Smile

Very true Mistri. I never thought I would live into my mid-70s, and here I am, a little banged up, but still truckin.' I am so thankful for these extra days my mom and sister did not have, and couldn't care less what anyone calls me. "Elderly?" "Old?" "Decrepit?" My word would be "Alive!" and grateful for it!! If I just had to sit in a room and watch my loved ones living their lives, that also would be enough for me. Sounds strange, I know, but to me getting old is a gift. {#emotions_dlg.wub} (((Mistri)))

I am hopeful your dad will make it to 68 and more.

I feel the same way Ford. I'm right there with you and I thank God every day that I will have another day with my family and my precious granddaughter.

Yep, I'm elderly! Invisible, too! Loving it!
