I hope maybe someone may have heard of this before. DH thought he had either a toothache or an ear infection so he went to the dr last week. It turned out that he had a buildup of wax and the dr told him that there was water behind it. They attempted to dig out the wax and irrigate his ear. They were unable to move the wax, sent hi home with instructions to purchase mineral oil and use it daily until he came back this week. So....he went back today, they tried irrigating the ear again and removing the blockage. Very little success. He came in the door a few minutes ago and told me that he needed to go lay down. He feels nauseous and said his head is pounding. The dr told him that he needs to set up an appointment with an ear nose & throat. I have never heard of a wax buildup that appears to be a concrete block in his ear. Neither have I ever heard of something like this developing so quickly. I wonder if anyone here has ever heard of anything this strange. Any thoughts would be welcomed. TIA. : )
