Tell me about egg allergies. Do you have sensitivity or full blown anaphylaxis? Do you take flu vaccine since processed with egg? Did you just experiment and find out that you can tolerate the white but not the yolk?

My husband stopped eating whole eggs bc they caused nausea. Does not seem to bother him if eggs are an ingredient such as baked goods. He does take flu shots with no problem.

Hi @granddi.  I have many "food intolerances" or "sensitivites" as you call it.  I will get flushes in the face or have some breakouts and itchy excema outbreaks around elbows, knees, top of feet, all the normal places one gets them when I eat a lot of the offender.  Nitrates and preservatives, aspartame are the worst.  They can give me a sore throat, chills - like I'm coming down with a cold.

Over the years I have done elimination diets which can be quite tiresome but they work! And yes that's when I separated egg whites and yolk and found out about that.

I wish Dermatologists would tell their patients that rosacea and excema too for that matter are in large caused by certain foods.  All they do is say it's coffee, hot drinks, wine, etc.  Not true.

Then they push the cortisone creams and expensive rosacea creams that don't work. 

I have very fair skin and unless I eat certain foods am mostly rosacea free for years now.  No fragrances on face.

I have heard about the "flu shot" and eggs, but I have never gotten one yet so I don't know!!

PS. I have problems with iodine too and if I need a CT scan with dye it has to be non-ionic.
