Re: Does anyone really 'love' their CPAP machine?

@SilleeMee --well that is great news for those who just can't tolerate that machine.

Re: Does anyone really 'love' their CPAP machine?

I have been wearing a Cpap since 2011. I am compliant with it and love the sleep that I get with it. I do love my Cpap. My brother wears one and loves his too.

I used on last year for a short while and did not have a good experience. I am a mouth breather and could not find a mask that worked for me.

Re: Does anyone really 'love' their CPAP machine?

Nearly the worst ten months of my life. I was diagnosed with mild sleep apnea. A cpap was prescribed. Couldn't get a comfortable mask no matter how many I tried. The humidity settings were useless. Any tiny change in the air caused water to dribble or sometimes spray onto my face. How about that for a good night's sleep. Not. Not only that, I had to schlep all that equipment to my vacations on a cruise, later to Thailand. Then because of the extreme humidity I couldn't use the d*mn thing anyway. When I got home I met with the sleep doctor and asked to have cpap discontinued. She agreed, because my condition is considered mild. Tell you what- I wouldn't be using it regardless. Would be taking my chances with meeting Jesus in my sleep. Thats how much I hated that thing.

Don't use mine anymore.  I used a full face mask for 25 years.  They were recalled because people were getting cancer from the fibers breaking off.  I am one of those.  I never smoked or drank and wad a bland eater.  I got esophageal cancer and I really blame the machine I used
