If so, anything one needs to be on the alert for? Any tips?
An Rx I use is available everywhere EXCEPT the USA now. My doctor has written scripts so I can purchase it overseas when possible but I found it via multiple Canadian med sites. TIA for any and all information.

I once ordered an inhaler for my cat from a Canadian pharmacy on advice from my vet due to price. I don't remember there being any particular issues except with my Credit Card. That was only because some CC's alert and may not accept a charge from outside the US without user authorization. I think the pharmacy itself alerted me to that because when I called the CC company they sounded like it wasn't an issue at all.

My husband used to, it took a lot of talk with MD to get him to agree to it. The funny thing is the drug he needed was only made in one place in the world, Canada. Never had any problems and it was 1/2 the price of it in the US.

i don't know if your med is available in India, but I order from "All Day Chemist" and always a good experience.

I don't, I can envision any circumstances under which I would do that. All of the physicians I see call prescriptions in to my pharmacy or they do it online. I'm pretty sure none of them would call a script into a Canadian pharmacy, or one in Mexico either. It's weird how people won't use Facebook but they'll go online to by medications from heaven only knows who.

@chrystaltree Let me put it to you this way:
King Pharmaceutical wasn't making enough money from the US so they said "see ya" after they threatened with "pay what we want or we leave" statement; stopping the production and selling of a drug used by asthmatics. For those of us who can NOT use a steroid based inhaler, it has caused major issues. It's the same drug, same name, same everything. My specialists have no issue writing a script for me to take to any other country to get it filled; usually I do it in the UK when I travel there. However, I'm reading about more and more about those who now travel or order from Canada.
Bottom line, if the drug that works for your medical issue is available elsewhere and means you can stop using meds that affect your quality of life, you will seek out that drug. Sometimes there are no other drugs that work for you and so....you suffer. You are very fortunate to not have to face this reality; many do. I'm one of them.
Edited for grammar.

I have for years for one antibiotic for sinus infection. No prescription - takes regular credit cards - quick and easy. However, I assume many meds do require a prescription - but I've never had to experience that.

I'll post this one last time as my suggestion seems mostly ignored. I feel a bit like a broken record
I've ordered Lantus insulin pens from Marks Marine Pharmacy in Canada for years. They have many other meds available.
These are the very same insulin pens available in the US, but I use them for my cat.
Their customer service is top notch. I originally saw them mentioned on this board years ago and followed up. Been ordering ever since then.
Hope you find what you need.
Edited to add that these pens are about 1/2 the cost of the US price. Even with shipping, I think for 5 pens it was around $180.

My mother was on a medication that cost $300 for 30 tabs, drug made in the U.S. I ordered them for her from a Canadian pharmacy at half the price. Good experience.
It was more involved than just going to a drugstore here in the states and presenting a prescription. There was some paperwork to fill out that the doctor had to sign,
