I use Ultimate Flora Probiotics - EVERYDAY. It is the last supplement I feel the different if I miss 2 days. I need the probiotics because I take anti-biotics and anti-fungals 2X daily. Walmart has the best price in my area.

I also started the disgusting Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar a couple of months ago - daily - and have noticed a nice change in my complexion. It was not bad but it seems different.

??? The benefit of a pro biotic is cancelled out when you're taking anti biotics at the same time ....

I had to take it when I was on antibiotics recently. When that happens, they tell you to take two a day.

Also two a day when you're having some kind of stomach problems.

I took a heavy duty antibiotic in the morning with food, then waited until lunch to take the probiotics.

Yes, this. Whenever I have to put my dog on antibiotics, they always still continue their probioitics but they get them at a different time than when they get the antibioitics. The vet (specialist) says that is still good to do this because it is still helping to replenish the good bacteria that may get killed off from the antibiotics. Doing so has been a lifesaver for my one dog who has IBS.

Dr. Ohhira's are THE best probioitics, imo. A poster recommended them about a year ago and we've seen dramatic improvements using them and my doctor highly recommends them as well. One of the most obvious is that both my husband and I have not gotten sick even when others around us have been sick for weeks on end.

Yes, Culturelle works. When I need to start a round, depending upon the reason, I start with two or more a day then taper down to one a day. It does take a while to rebuild the good bacteria in your system. When your GI system is fragile you also have to watch e rest of your diet to rebuild tolerance. Also, when your stomach is shaky, dairy, even in yogurt, can be another source of agitation.

Culturelle does work for me. I've used it for 2-3 years off and on.

It has absolutely worked for me. I had to take two different broad-spectrum antibiotics and a high dose of ibuprofen for a 3 week period while dealing with an abscessed tooth. My system was...seriously messed up. After doing some online research, I decided to try Culturelle Digestive Health. I took two the first day as a loading dose, then one a day after that, and it made a profound difference. I'm still taking one a day.

I'm been taking the Ultimate Flora for about a week and find it constipates me so I might start an every other day dosage if after another week or so I still have the same problem. Nobody mentioned that it can constipate. Next time, I might try a different brand.
