I would suggest going on amazon and reading the reviews. They are helpful and will give you a better idea of what to expect. It does seem like a good product.

Here you go....http://www.naturodoc.com/library/nutrition/maca.htm. While not the only article out there by far, this one has some really good Aha! moments in it. I hope this helps out.

I have actually been researching it myself lately because I think I am getting ready to begin the peri-menopause thing. I want to use all natural therapies, and I am seeing some good things about Maca in general. I still need to do a wee bit more research on Maca and migraines, because I get horrible migraines which seem to be increasing now and I do not want to do anything to aggravate the problem. Since my migraines are not triggered by the usual suspects, but rather by wild hormonal fluctuations, I am hoping the Maca and some bio-identical hormones in small doses will help chill my brain covering out. There is a liquid Maca product mixed with chocolate sold at Mountain Rose Herbs online that I was toying with getting, but then I just remembered as I wrote this (sigh, Topamax makes me sooo stupid, I have got to stop it again), that I purchased two whole bags of Nutribullet's special powder mix with Maca and some other good stuff like Chia and Flax. I need to make my smoothies and put that in it. Good luck with your experiment!

Yes....in the morning I warm coconut or almond milk and add cacao, lacuma, and maca and sometime goji berries and blend before pouring into my togo cup. You can add a bit of agave or stevia for sweetner and I usually add a sprinkle of cinnamon or maybe a shot of vanilla. The maca is good for hormonal balance. This is my "power" drink on the way into work. (Sometimes I wish there was a fast food deli that served up quick food for the way I eat...."I'll have a maca, lacuma, cacao extra hot with a shot of vanilla" oh, and add a raw nori roll with tahini dressing to go for lunch....![]()
