I am currently taking Hyaluronic Acid, which has been amazing for my joints. I am considering adding Tumeric based on a conversation with my trainer at my gym.
Are any of you taking it? Thoughts?

I use apprx. 2 teaspoons of ground turmeric a day. I put it in my smoothies and just about everything I cook. Add a little black pepper to increase absorbtion. I've been using it for about 5 years. It helps me with inflammation, which is more systemic than just joint pain.

Yes, I drink Golden Milk everyday. You make a paste with the turmeric and add it to milk. I don't drink dairy so I use coconut milk. There are very good recipes and instructions online. It has helped my arthritis, but you have to consume it consistently or you won't get the beneficial effects.

Yes, I take tumeric along with fish oil and glucosomine chondroitin (not bothering with spell check on these, sorry). I've been taking this and many other supplements for about a year, and they make a huge difference. I added the tumeric about 6-8 months ago, and the addition of tumeric made an even more noticeable difference.
I'm 68 and have arthritis in various places, but most noticeably in my hands. I would say that about 80% of the time, for the past 5 or more years, I would experience an aching in my hands and sometimes it was so strong I would put a topical cream on, or add a heating pad to them when I was relaxing. It would make me very anxious because I kept thinking about the joints deteriorating and eventually having problems using my hands.
Now, I would say I notice an aching feeling about 10% of the time, and my knuckles look less swollen and pink looking. An amazing improvement.
Definitely give it a try. I don't know why I waited so long. I was sceptical about supplements, I guess.

I just started the Tumeric capsules, so I can't say ..... but how much Hyaluronic Acid are you taking each day?

Love it! It's a wonderful spice that can really be added to both sweet & savory dishes. Plus it's a beautiful color!
Turmeric reduces inflammation but remember, animal products, oils & processed foods ADDS inflammation. If you're some seeing results by adding turmeric, try removing these inflammatory foods & you'll be skipping down the street! ![]()

I started Hyaluronic Acid at 600 mg per day for a month to build it up and have dropped to 200 mg a day for a long time now. It was a major change after using Glucosamine/Chondroitin which gave me no noticeable result. HA has been a miracle for me. In two weeks I could tell the difference.

I swear by New Chapter Zyflamend! It has tumeric in it, plus ginger and other antioxidants. It is a little pricy, but it works great for me. It is all natural. Read the reviews on it. Plus, vitamin D3 is a must!- it is great for arthritis.

We take Tumeric Curcumin caps, my DH takes 1000 mg daily, I take 500, we use Puritans Pride. The one with Curcumin is a much more advanced , better quality formula.
