Oh what you must have gone through. I cannot even imagine. I was diagnosed Type 1 February 1997 as an adult. Oh they tried to give me pills and say I was type 2 but my blood sugar only went higher and I lost more weight. Now that I am on the pump I would not give it up unless I was absolutely forced to. I would give up my dexcom first and with the cost even with insurance there have been times I had to choose one or the other. I have heard people love the other pumps and would never do omnipod. I have only ever used it. I never liked the idea of all tubing.
