Device to help put socks on

Every since my hip has been bothering me I have had trouble putting my socks on, I do have my husband help but hate having to ask.

I found a device, our health plan lets us order 70 dollars of otc things quarterly although I see its also on Amazon.

Its medline sock assistor or something like that, anyway it works great! I figured it wouldn't work great so I was pleasantly surprised.

@spumoni99. I don't know what works well but whatever you do, don't buy one of these gadgets. They take more manual dexterity and skill than a concert violinist possesses. I couldn't do it.

@spumoni99 I got one after my first hip surgery I hated it also I rarely wear socks. It was not easy to manipulate

@Kachina624 That looks like what I got and its super easy to use, I got it to work in seconds? I was really surprised.

@Kachina624 Maybe they improved it? I am usually not that coordinated, it could be the socks I used also they were sort of loose, I imagine if the socks aren't roomy it could be difficult. I like to wear the little socks that just cover your foot and I imagine this won't work for that.

@Kachina624 : Totally agree. I purchased one and gifted 2 other brands and couldn't make them work. My bad back makes it difficult to put shoes and socks on. DH does a lot for me but wish I could find something to use.
