I'm 75, get my teeth cleaned etc every 6 months.  The result (plus heredity) is I have great teeth (every dentist says so) one crown, four gold fillings in back, that's it!  I never even needed braces!  But DH has his share (plus mine) in dental work.  In last five years he has had $40,000 in dental work (and a lot of failed implants).  We are driving three hours to Phoenix today to accommodate one of five visits to get new dentures (that are not anchored).  Hopefully this is the last of it!
