Hi Everyone,
This is the first time I post on your board. I'm so glad the "Q" has so much variety.
I have been considering becoming a vegetarian, and also converting my whole family as well. My main reason is to stop animal cruelty. I was watching so many videos from you tube and it was so depressing to be part of the demand crowd/chain.
For those of you who are vegetarians, what exactly do you eat to substitute meat, and it's nutrients. Hopefully I can get an answer from some long time vegetarians and how your health is overall w/out meat.
I know about lentils, beans, grains. And of course vegetables, and fruits .. I'm hoping to obtain more info from my local library, but I would like to hear from the long time dedicated, persistent vegetarians out here.
Any comments/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
