I heard on the Nightly News (again) that taking vitamins/supplements were just a way to make your '''pee really expensive''. Do you think taking vitamins is a worthwhile thing??

I've been taking Andrew Lessman vitamins since he was first on QVC ... almost 30 years ago. Reports come and go and everyone has an opinion. One day these vits are good, one day not, some are fans, some not. I will continue to take my Andrew Lessman vitamins! While people in my office get sick for the second and sometimes third time in a year, I just keep taking them. I've had 2 sick days (knock wood) in the 19 years I've been here. I'm sure that is part genes, attitude, and THANK YOU ANDREW!!!!!!
As you can see, I'm a huge fan ... not of all vitamins, since the industry sadly is not regulated.

I definitely think vitamins and supplements are well worth it if you take a good quality and not just the cheapo ones that may or may not have the required amounts to produce results. We all may not need certain ones though. I'm sure what was presented on the nightly news was probably put out there in some way by the big pharmacutical companies who would quickly change their minds if they had sole control over them!!

Yes, I do & I absolutely feel they help. Not all vitamins are created equal. I take Andrew Lessman’s vitamins. They are pure & have no additives or dyes.
I also have a sensitive stomach.Andrew’s vitamins are easily digestible & never irritate or give me gas.

Yes, I take vitamins and so does dh. We can both tell a difference if we don't take them. We take Juice Plus or Andrew Lessmans.
All vitamins are not created equal.

My Dr wants me on them. I am deficient, and I will be on them for my entire life, I was told. A vitamin is a good thing

Another Andrew Lessman fan here. Been taking his Women's Complete for many years, on auto delivery, along w/a Nature Made brand Calcium/Vitamin D supplement.

I feel exactly the same as you do about Andrew Lessman's vitamins. His are the ones I take.
For a long time, I felt ambivalent about vitamins, and just took an ordinary one-a-day kind of thing. You often heard that if you ate a reasonable diet, you got your needed nutrients, and vitamins were a waste of money.
Recently though, as I age and have aging problems, I want to make sure I'm getting everything....I realize I can't possibly get everything I need from food, I just don't eat all that much, can't get the variety of fruits and vegetables into my diet.
Also, I find several of the supplements help with arthritis pain...this is not just my imagination.
I opt to take the Lessman vitamins, because from all I see and hear, his products are excellent. Yes, maybe I could get some more inexpensively somewhere, but my thinking is, if I'm going to be spending money at all on these vitamins, they may as well be the best, freshest without fillers and additives that tend to upset the stomach, etc.
Maybe I don't need everything I take, but I can afford it, so I just consider it a form of insurance at this point. You know, when you give your plants the nutrients they need, they grow so much better, and look so much healthier. Same with people.
