It's only 11am and this pre colonoscopy liquid diet is already killing me.  I made a big bowl of lemon lime Jello.  Can't wait for that to firm up so I can eat it.

I've never had a colonoscopy done. I just sent in a Cologuard sample today.

Hang in there!  Had mine about a month ago, I did great until about 5pm and I would have killed for a cracker!

@chrystaltree , I drink clear broth, and it really helps me to feel more satisfied.  Jello doesn't cut it for me.

Good Luck!!  I had mine a year ago.  Make sure you're completely cleaned out.  The prep they gave me didn't quite do the trick and I need to go back sooner than the 10 years.  I'm surprised you can have lemon lime jello given it may have some sort of food coloring in it.  My prep had to be all clear.  Getting through the prep is the tough part.  Prevention is key!

Not sure how true this is but if they find anything on the Cologard test if the doctor orders a colonoscopy your insurance company may not cover it.

I prefer Cologuard which I have done 3 times.  But my doctor said that I need a colonoscopy even if I am low risk for colon cancer.

Drinking some chicken broth now.  I think the urge to have something solid is a mental thing.

Of course they cover it.  If Cologuard which is diagnostic found a polyp or anything else, the diagnosis for the colonoscopy would be the polyp, the colonoscopy would not be billed as diagnostic.  It would have a medical diagnosis.
