Colon Cancer Stage 4

Has anyone been through this? My sister has it and started chemo today.

She has several other tumors that have gone into her liver and other areas. She does not smoke or drink, walks a lot, is trim and eats well. She had no idea she had it and felt fine. All her doctors felt surgery should wait until after the chemo. TIA
