Choosing a Primary Doctor

I need to choose a new Primary Doctor. I have it down to two in my area. One was a Hospitalist for 15 years and now has his own private practice. The other is with a group and has their own clinic, etc. Both are Internal Medicine and appear to be qualified. Any feedback as to which way to go is appreciated. Kiss
