Thanks, everyone, for all your mostly positive input. I will make an appointment and hope it helps. I was actually uncertain about seeing my regular MD first or just going to a chiropractor but I think I will skip the doctor at least for now.

I've been a chiropractic patient for 35 years. I can't say enough good things about it. Please find the best one in your area and make sure they do xrays at the first visit.
