Cataracts After Lasik?

Anyone here develop cataracts after having Lasik? I had Lasik in 2000 and although there was some regression in my vision, everything was good. Until I started developing cataracts about five years ago. I am 57. I now need to have the cataracts removed. I was considering multi-focal lenses so I would not need glasses for reading but hear it is tricky after Lasik. What are your experiences with post-Lasik cataract surgery and what type of implants did you get? Thanks for any input.
