PBB so very happy to read your post you must be soooo relieved! Thank GOD it was nothing BUT what a scare these tests can give us more STRESS than our hearts and nerves need. I sometimes think these things do more damage to our bodies than what could actually be wrong. Still better to check everything out and in your case a true Blessing the results. Thank you for sharing your experience with all of us it may just help someone who is going through a similar condition to relax a little more. Rest and put your feet up and watch some QVC. I share your celebration with you! as I'm sure so many others do! GOD BLESS and feel GREAT!

Am happy to here everything went well for you. The Transradial Heart Cath is relatively new and not done by all Cardiologists. It also depends on the individual person if this type of heart cath can be done.
I know they are still doing studies comparing this procedure to the Transfemoral Heart Cath and the end results of a great number of patients undergoing this type of Heart Cath. From what I understand, if a Transradial Cath is done and a blockage is found an Angioplasty or a Stent-Angioplasty cannot be done via this method.
If the blockage is in an area that can be opened with an Angioplasty or Stent-Angioplasty it must be done via the Femoral Artery, thus the more common Transfemoral method must be used.
All that worry and fear! Always best to know what one is facing before putting oneself through unnecessary feelings. Again, easy for me to say, not as easy for some to do.
Very happy for you.
