Just read he's in line for a 10 year contract with the Mariners at $240 million. Hate to see him leave "my team," but bye bye. That's way too long a contract for a 31 year old second baseman!
Hope Robbie does well. He definitely plays well and it seems as if he's clean and nice. But 24 million at 40 and 41? I just don't think so.
And unless he makes the headlines I'm not going to know because I don't follow baseball in general, just the Yankees. And probably not them too much for the next year or two or three.
