Re: Cancer survivors

[ Edited ]

Hi UKseahawk,

Uh oh, maybe I didn't give it enough time.  It is so thoroughly relaxng maybe I should give it another whirl.  I've tried CBD, both oil and gummies and no luck.   I'm so glad it worked for you, it is very highly touted.  I guess everyone is different.

Many have come and gone, but they all left paw prints on my heart

bow - doing a happy dance for your good results!!!  It should have been told to you right away - this worrying isn't good for our health!!

Mary Poppins was OK.  Couldn't compare to the original one, but this one is when the kids are grown and the boy now has children of his own and Mary Poppins returns.  Didn't like the casting except for Lin-Manuel Miranda - I LOVE that man, lol!!!!  Wish I could have seen him in Hamilton, he is absolutely brilliant.

I don't follow the coffee bullet guy.  I do use grass fed butter, but don't want it or coconut oil (mixed feelings on that) in my coffee!  I would like to try his coffee tho.  I'm also diabetic and can't have keytones in my system.  Did that on the Atkins diet back in the day, not good for me.  Lost wieght and gained more back.  Not fair!

em - so hoping your hubby gets good results.  Lets us know how it goes.

ukseahawk - I wouldn't have thought about acupuncture for neuropathy, may have to look into that as mine is getting worse, although the CDP oil helps.

GC - welcome back!  What a hassle at your stop over.  It's always something.  We're not too slippery here, but it has gotten colder, so bring out the ice.

@embgm - I'll be definitely praying for your husband that the CT scan didn't reveal any problem with his lungs.  I know how scary that can be, because I had two CT scans earlier this year (everything okay with the follow-up scan).  It's also hard to wait for test results.

Em, sorry to hear about hubby. Your going to have to ride this one out with the Ct. Will be praying for him.. It stinks when you get sick over the holidays but at least he's been treated for his bronchitis.

Anna, maybe you should consider acupuncture again. Being relaxed from it is not such a bad thing when you think about it.

Hey UK good to hear from you again.

Lannie I think I will wait for Mary Poppins to come out on Netflix or something.

GC hope you are resting a bit after the trip. I don't think anyone claimed the lottery ticket yet. I don't buy lottery tickets.

Husband went to see BIL today. That's another story.

I want to wish all of you a happy, healthy New Year 2019.

I probably won't stay up until midnight.  My building had a little get-together, but it only was a couple hours.  People brought appetizers and cookies/candies to share, and we had wine, apple cider and cofffee.  It was nice to visit with the neighbors.

Happy New Year ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰.  Looking forward to a fresh start.  I'm going to stay optimistic.

Mia, the party sounds nice.  It's also good to get to know your neighbors.

Okay Lion, where did this snow come from?  I hadn't checked the weather since I got back and was shocked when I saw the news yesterday.  I was supposed to work 8 - 4.  At 1230, we where sent home to finish the day due to the weather.  There were probably 30 people working out of a couple hundred.  The roads were slick going home.  The police blotter showed lots of accidents.  Will have to do something with the driveway today.  ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

Happy New Year everyone!! Another boring New Years in this house. The only excitement was watching everyone in Times Square being rained on. We don't usually get rain on New Years Eve here. You just freeze to death. I hope they all had a wonderful time. It's very interesting. People from all over the world and they are so happy.

GC snow??? That's not good. Well at least you were able to leave work early.

Was going to go food shopping this morning but I said no one is getting any deliveries today. So I'll head out tomorrow. So I'm doing laundry instead. My life is so exciting.

Did anyone do anything exciting on New Years?? At least Mia went to a party which is a good thing.
