Bo excellent news. Now get the report to have in your files. Go out and celebrate.

Mae, revel in your husbands stupidity. I know it's mean but it is rewarding on some sinister level.

Anyone have any plans for New Year's?? We all got through Christmas OK.

Pam I hope you have calmed down with the cleaning. I know how it is. Two of my ceilings literally collapsed from two big leaks upstairs. I was a wild woman. Plus with all of the rennovations the cleaning was constant. But your in pain and all bruised. So try and take it easy.

Spoke to brother in law today. He says he's doing fine and doesn't want my husband to come and see him. Anthony said he's going on Sat.

GC you must be looking forward to going home tomorrow

Thanks GC, Mia and Jackie  for your kind words!

Jackie, did you see the "blue night sky" last nite over NYC?  I'm seeing it on the News and it looks like it would have been pretty but scary.  And, did your ceiling just collapse?  If so, you and Pam have had an extreme lot of negative to deal with this Christmas!!!

Pam, hope you're getting to a place where you can get a little rest.

GCR, looks like your traveling weather will not be good.  Hope you get back home safely.

Lannie, how was Mary Poppins?  Do you follow Dave Asprey (Bullet Proof Coffee) at all?  I do.  He says some brains love CBT oil and some don't.  After  thinking about it, I don't guess I have any real reason to  take now, but happy to know how it has helped your neuropathy......that's major.    I do like the lotion and want to keep some on hand.  Thanks for all the info you gave on it....much appreciated.

Heavy rainy, thunderstorm  morning....again....here.

Wishing ALL a good Friday!  I feel so good going into the New Year with good test results behind me!!!

bow-----what great news!!!! I would be over the moon-------

Not much is happening around my place. Been going to ortho drs for my sore joints and luckliy, no broken bones altho my right knee is painful--dr said he suspects a meniscus tear but will need MRI to confirm. So I will baby it for a couple weeks and then decide on MRI which could mean some surgery----it feels better each day but is very sore today,  as it got put thru its paces with dr exam. Am crazy to take down the xmas tree/ decors but can't find my storage boxes and then where to put them?------still living like hoarders with little trails amongst the rooms and stuff. Finding more cracks in walls  too------hubs thinks just the main things, roof and ceilings will be the only fixes---let me tell you----he has a HUGE awakening coming!!!! I will bring such wrath down upon him...Man Mad..........but still nothing from ins or adjusters yet---Trying to keep downstairs livable and normal looking for all of our poor mental condidtion but fear that all will be pushed to the walls so boxes of stuff can be moved downstairs. Cooked my first real meal in a week--and it was so good. Been living on xmas leftovers. Saturday is supposed to be windy again---I dread that and will be camped out downstairs----still shell shocked I guess.

glad everyone is doing well--

Hey GC couldn't take the rain with you?? One miserable day here not that I had any plans. Didn't even bother getting dressed today.

WEll Pam, good that nothing is broken. You got it right with meniscus tears. Only one way to fix them. Let's hope it's a small one. I don't think anyone is functioning till after the 1st. That's when I would be bothering the insurance company.

Lannie, how was the movie?? I so loved the first one. Remember, one movie theater one movie. My girlfriend and I saw it twice on the same day. Then we bought the album.

Lord husband is doing a Beatles marathon here.

I'm finally here.  Yes, the weather in NY was cr-ap today.  Didn't stop the plane though.  We left early and arrived early.  Flight was nice, except all you could see out the windows was white.  Chicago though was another story. Ended up getting home an hour and a half late. They said it was a mechanical issue, but I don't understand why they didn't say that to start with.  We had 4 gate changes and several stories.  It was mass confusion, but it didn't have to be.  It snowed here today.  It's cold here and there's about two inches ice/snow on the ground.  My friend said it was slick driving.  Can't wait to meet up with my bed tonight.

Jackie, spill the beans.  The ticket was sold in Brooklyn!!

Hi Ukseahawk,

Thanks for the welcome and congratulations!! I also tried acupuncture for about 6 weeks, once a week, and it did nothing but relax me.  I'm glad it worked for you though!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Is everyone as confused as I am trying to figure out what day it is? These days have been so busy and everyone’s schedules are different. We have had lots of company and enjoyed great family time.  Unfortunately there is a health issue concerning my husband that we have kept to ourselves. A few weeks ago he went to our walk-in med center and was diagnosed with bronchitis’s  and PCV (irregular heartbeat) plus they saw a shadow on his lung. They sent us to the hospital where his heart was deemed ok but was referred to get a CT scan of his lung which he had on Dec. 26th. Well we don’t have the results because his doctor won’t return from vacation till next week. How awful to be hanging like this waiting. Unfortunately my husband is a heavy smoker and his dad died of lung cancer discovering it at the same age as my husband. So naturally I am very frightened and could use lots of prayers.  Em

HI Anna - it took about 8 weeks for the acupuncture to start working  and I have gone back twice for a few weeks as a tune up.  I haven't been for at least 2 years.   Sorry it didn't work for you.
