Congrats Maestra and Lynn on stellar reports on scan and 3D mammo.

Maestra my husband doesn't give to charity. I'm the one who does. I tell him you aren't grateful for anything. When you are blessed you bless others. He doesn't get it. Well he's going through his h3ll rt now with his mother. She was transferred to the trauma center of the hospital for further care. Ortho wants to irrigate her knee and watch her. He's going there tomorrow.

GC and Lannie sounds like you both had a wonderful lunch. WE should all meet in Las Vegas and have a ball. We all need it.

Well we were hungry and ate everything before pictures.  I had clam chowder, lobster/shrimp salad with a fried tomato on a croissant with fries.  Lion had perch, slaw and potato salad.  We had chocolate cup cake for dessert.  Waiter was not note worthy.  Hum...no scandal to report.  I got lost getting there. The dam had a great waterfall with lots of different birds.

Well, I can't get the other picture to copy here, the birds (pelican) was very small to see anyway, but take our word for it, it was a beautiful place to sit and have lunch.

Sorry Pam, the only exciting thing was my swallowing a lemon seed and I may have a lemon tree growing inside me.

I got myself some CBD oil and started taking it hoping it will help with at least one of my issues.  Anybody heard of or tried it?

HI   Long time no post/read.   I have used CBD oil and it works great for the neuropathy in my feet.

Hi UK!!!!!!

It's funny because I've been thinking about you and wondering how you have been doing - it's so good to see your post.  I think we were TNBC sisters along with bow.  Hope you are doing ok.  Heart

My friend out west is taking it for severe fybromyalgia, she's under a great deal of stress, and I have noticed some improvement in her, just talking to her over the phone, she seemed a little more calm to me.  So I started researching CBD oil and got frustrated with the hype, doses, half information, etc.

So I went to a local health place and got some just to try.  Well, I've only been taking it 3 days (double dose first day) but I thought I noticed a difference in my neuropathy in my toes, which has been driving me crazy.  I am going into this absolutely not knowing what it may help if anything, but now that you have experienced benefits with your neuropathy, I have hope!  I was hoping it would help with my chronic insomnia, but nothing so far with that.  As a matter of fact, I feel like I have a tad more energy.

Can I ask what kind you are taking?  What dose?  I'm still not sure about that part.  Mine is a full spectrum oil, CO2 extracted, 3mg per dose of Cannabidiol, 13 mg of Hemp Oil (Aerial Plant Parts), unflavored.  From Holland. I put the drops under my tongue.  I do trust the place I got it from, but there's so much out there it get confusing, especially the dosage.  It was about $50 for 1 oz.

Thanks for any info you can give me. Again so good to hear from you!

hey UK---funny, I've been wondering about you too. You still in Seattle?  What do you think of our long, hot summer?? I am not loving it as I have no AC but a ton of fans everywhere.

lannie--been looking into CBD oil just for info on it. I think I got some and maybe tried it but I don' remember much about it; then got  the CBD cream for my numb stuff--saw no difference.

Am going  to the dentist for 2 tiny cavities to be fixed----hot, hot, hot around here for the next few days------lilies love the heat--have a few more pics to send of some new ones that are blooming---just about to the end of lily time--am very sad.

@HerRoyaLioness - my cousin has neuropathy in her hands and feet.  She isn't diabetic, and she's never had cancer.  One day, she was fine, and the next day her hands and feet were burning.  I've seen when her hands and feet turn almost beet red.

She's been to Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, and they've run a battery of tests, but nothing they've suggested seems to help much.  She's taking Gabapentin, but a much higher dose than I take for my post-herpetic neuralgia.

I don't want to mention the CBD oil to her, unless you ladies can make a good recommendation on what she should get and how much to take.

She takes a blood thinner also, so she shouldn't take anything that might affect her blood.

Yes   I'm still in HOT Seattle  but thankfully we have one of those wheeled AC units for the bedroom,  so I can sleep.   90 doesn't seem hot for most of the country  but in Seattle it is really HOT.

I just went in to one of the local Pot stores - it is legal here in Washington.   The folks were very helpful.   The CBD that I take is drops that I add to any liquid and drink it.  The bottle says it is 50mg THC  and 250mg of CBD - each dropper (one dose) contains 12.5mg of CBD 2.5mg of THC.    I can't taste it,  but it has helped with my neuropathy.   But I would go with what a Dr  or someone at the store says.

Yup - we are the TNBC sisters!   I go in about 2 weeks for my 5 yr checkup.   All have been good so far.

I hope everyone is doing great  and I'll try to stop by more often now that I have more time.   My mom passed away a few months ago  and I've been trying to go thru her things.   It was sad,  but no more pain and no more dementia for her.

Take care everyone!!!!!    UK
