Mom, good luck tomorrow. Let us know how it went. I just had a wire inserted the day of my surgery. No dye or radioactive anything.

Mom, glad to hear everything went well. See we're all stronger than we think we are when it comes to these things. Pat yourself on the back, and treat yourself to something nice. I'm so happy we could help you and in turn you will help someone else who comes on the board. We all were newbies when it came to posting. This board is a blessing.

Hello girls. Well the surgeon called. They are indeed atypical cells. Not Cancer but this definately puts me in a higher risk. We will talk when I go to my follow up appt in June 2nd. She said tamoxifen is an option( which I started- and might do again) and special monitoring are what we will do. I am thankful but I know this isn't over ( it's never over is it?Smiley Happy. With my family history and this I am honestly thinking of having a mastectomy. Of course I will do what I have to do and figure it all out.
