Well, ladies test is over. We were jumping through hoops trying to find my ovaries. Lift your hips, turn a little to the side. Lord have mercy. She thinks she found the two of them. Very small which is a good thing. So hopefully everything will turn out OK.

Lotus, you sure have a full schedule with tests. You just have to bite the bullet and get them over with. this is our lot in life. Hope everything goes well with your son's surgery.

I need a nap. Drove myself crazy this morning which is nothing unususal for me.

I canceled all my tests for tomorrow. DS decided he wanted me to go to the hospital with him. (not that I didn't want to, but the GF was going to drive him and he acted like he didn't want me there)....but I guess things changed.

The tests were not super important...they can wait a week.

Jackie....fingers crossed for good results for your sono!

Lotus, they are all he men until something happens. Then they want their mothers. When my brother went for his hernia operation the first person he wanted to see in recovery was his mommy and he was in his 50's. I told him I want to puke. Of course my mother told me to shut up. As long as your there he feels the world is right and nothing will happen to him. It should give you a good feeling.

I have to go off of this beet thing that I'm on. It's dextoxifying everything in my body. Running to the bathroom like crazy. Great laxative ladies if you get stuffed up.

Been out of the loop for a bit due to the cornea problem. It's hard to read with what looks like metal flecks on every image. Oh well. I selective docs regarding a custom contact lens for my left eye.

Today was an oncology day at Mayo - my first since graduating from every 3 months to 4. I had labs and CT in the morning tthen had a 2pm appointment to go over results. Seems there's a new suspicious nodule in my left lung. They are finding that the Yervoy immunotherapy is lasting for a certain amount of time and then there's a recurrence. I'm prime for that since ideas Stage for in lung and brain. Soooo, I'm going forgave another, more extensive CT in 2 months, with a follow-up PET scan if indicated. Then we go from there. Of course my parents were with me, freaking out. Injustices "whats the next step?". I'm going to stay ahead of this.

I do read the posts and think of all of you - sending you tons of happy, healthy vibes!!

I just thank you all for the support you've given me. I seem to go straight into warrior mode although my parents get so upset. That's the part I hate. I know I'm under the best care with a great team at Mayo headed by my ĂĽber oncologist. I'm sure I'll be treated with the new wonder drug.

In the meantime, I have a pain injection appointment next week, the following week is an endocrinology day. Then on April 7th I see (no pun) the cornea contact lens specialist along with the other cornea specialty doc. Trying to schedule these 2 doctors together was a bit crazy, but done. So, I've got enough to keep myself busy.

Good Evening ladies! I have been reading how busy everyone is with their appointments and wish you all well. My next appointment is in April for a blood pressure check. I have to record it everyday and bring the results to my appointment. Surprisingly it's for very low blood pressure. It's been low for months now and the doctor feels it's one of the reasons I am so tired. 89/51 is pretty low. Today it was 100/61. I finally after 2 years raised my vitamin D level to an acceptable level. Tomorrow my husband is having surgery to laser a bladder stone that is too huge to pass through the opening of the bladder. Needless to say he is in lots of pain. This is not the first time he has had this done so we know what to expect. So what's another day spent at the hospital!!!! We should have a name plate for our own parking space! Lol.

Embgm, I hope everything went well with your husband today. I feel that way about the breast center. Just give me my own parking spot. Question?? Are you eating well and taking in enough fluids. I would try increasing my fluid intake to see if your BP goes up.

F1 we know you are a fighter and you will get through anything they throw at you. Hopefully everything will turn out fine. Then we have to tackle your disability claim.

Well, went to the oncology radiologist today. He gave me a once over. I'm fine. Got my appointment for next year.
