OK ladies I'm writing for Goldie. She started Chemo. Pill form. Taking the newer drug.. She's pooped. A million EKG's and lab work. Had to stay 2 hrs for observation. Havng a bit of nausea. She's going to rest up and will get back to everyone. Let's all pray she has an easy time of it.

@JackieHN - Thanks, Jackie, for letting us know that Goldie started the new cancer drug.  I will definitely add extra prayers for her, that she will be able to tolerate the drug and it will kill all the cancer cells and put her back into remission.

Goldie, good news that the show is on the road.  That has to be a relief that the waiting is over.  Not so good that you didn't feel well.  Can you take nausea pills before the chemo pill next time?  Hope you are feeling better today.  Heart

hey girls! I'm alive and kicking . I thank Jackie for posting for me yesterday, I wasn't feeling too well and I was exhausted, but you all have been so good to me, I wanted you to know, I finally got started on the chemo. I had some nausea last night, and Grace that's a good idea to take the compazine first, but I've already had my morning dose of chemo and no nausea,so far. They really put me through the mill yesterday, but it had to be done, before I could take this wicked drug. But it's going to kill the cancer cells ! So I have to just deal with the unpleasant parts.

Please ladies keep saying prayers for me,as I always remember you.

Everybody have a good weekend, beautiful weather in Oklahoma, hope it's nice wherever you are.

Stay strong, Goldie - we're with you all the way.

Yes, it had to be tiring to go through everything you did just to get started!  But now you are on your way to being better. Between the slow growing cancer and the long term attack by this new chemo, I have high hopes you.

Take care, I'm hoping your adjustment to all this will go well. Heart

The Lioness

Goldie - we were posting at the same time!!!  It's so good to hear from you - keep on kickin'!!

Super good to hear from you, Goldie!  Your post and The Lioness' post remind me of when I used to hear my daughter when she was in high school talking to her girlfriends....she'd begin a conversation with "What's kickin' chicken?"....loved hearing her say that...Heart

So, I will ditto what The Lioness says and add a little ....."Keep on kickin' chicken!"  Heart
