Jackie - you gotta watch out for those "foreign" germs, they can be nasty. Hope you are doing better. Do I dare ask how mother-in-law is doing?

Have a bit of good news - they called this morning with my results for my CT Scan for heart disease and chance of heart attack and it came back in mid range - which is good considering my family history, Dad had heart attack at 37, died at 58. Mom died at 67 with cardiac disease. She, my Dad and sister have all had abdominal aortic aneurysms. So I expected this testing to be much worse.

The bad news was something unexpected. The radiologist discovered there is a nodule in my left lung. Can you believe it? I just wasn't prepared for this and am kind of numb. They are notifying my dr and I expect I will be hearing from her and I can't think beyond that. I don't want to think beyond that. I've never heard of a good lung nodule. Ah, yes, the waiting game, I remember it well.

I do go see my new chiropractor, naturopathic dr today, but my heart isn't in it. I'll let you all know how things are going.

Bow - you computer whiz you! I'm still trying to figure out how to get my new Ipad & computer to work at the same time.

Take care everyone,

Lannie

Lannie, glad to hear your heart is healthy. Try not to get too upset about the lung until you have some information, to go on. I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, just reminding you to not let your imagination run away with you, we all hate the waiting game. But we've survived it before, we can again. Maybe Jackie can give us some info about lung nodules. Hang tough lannie, we are here for you. Goldie

Lannie, did some research. 98% of lung nodules are benign. She will probably want to do a chest CT.

Lannie...so sorry that you now have to deal with this. Once you've had cancer, you just can't help but think that anything out of the ordinary is cancer too. I'm thinking that Jackie's research will mean benign for you. I hope that you can meet with your doctor right away and get some peace about this.

My mother had surgery at around 89 yo for an abdominal aortic aneurysm. She lived until 92 yo dying within hours after having a stroke. She also had breast cancer at age 70 yo.

Lannie....please keep us updated...you'll be in my prayers.

Jackie..hope your cold is better...my doctor would say that a cold will last for a week or 7 days....he always thought that this was so funny .....

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!

(Heard journalist referring to e'quake this a.m. in CA as "Shamrock Shake".)

Goldie, thank you. I'm afraid my imagination has already run the full course with me. I actually called my lawyer to have my will updated today, haven't done that since 1995 so it needed to be done anyway. You have showed yourself to be there for us yet and I appreciate it and I know you know what I mean. Smiley Happy Jackie , I'm crazy already, you know that though. The last thing a breast cancer survivor wants to hear is that you have a nodule in your lung. I'm trying to tell myself it could be benign, but with my history I know my risk increases. My new dr was so supportive and I felt better after seeing him. He basically told me I'm a mess internally and my systems are not functioning the way they should and that I am full of cr@pp- literally. He took X-rays and showed me some interesting things in my bowels including the pills I had taken that morning (this was at 5pm) . Anyway, for now he put me on Chaga and reishi mushroom powders, more vit d and some other stuff I don't know. Then I will see him again after some blood tests he ordered that I can have done at my clinic I work at. We talked a lot and I will tell you more when I can. Right now I'm beat and going to bed. Littlemo , welcome to the board, sorry I don't have any knowledge about your type of cancer. But I'm thrilled to hear, you proved the drs wrong! We love happy stories. Feel free to come back and tell us about your cancer journey. Goldie
