I got the last file set from here when it was the TSV and the thing really does the job! Never thought about going to Sally'sWoman Indifferent----now I don't have those bumpy type of callouses- but I file down the heels and sides of my feet every week-- those get dry and rough between pedis.

My podiatrist recommends a pumice stone.

I use Alpha Skin Care Body Lotion with 12% glycolic acid in it. I use a foot file first on dry feet and then apply the lotion afterwards.

I bought a new foot file from Amazon and it's really good. Comes in a set of 2. The left one here is like a cheese grater and the other two are the same one showing both sides of the file, coarse and grinding which is more like a smoothing side. I love these.

I'd love ❤️ to have that first file like the professionals use.  I rarely go for pedicures, but when I do they never file enough off lol.  I don't feel like they cut my nails short enough either.  I always wonder if that's so I'll come back sooner lol.😃

I have scleroderma which means 'hard skin'. It's an AI disease I've had for a long time. You have no idea what hard skin on feet is like until you've seen mine...LOL!Woman LOL

I'm so sorry you have scleroderma.  I know someone with that and it's really a tough disease to live with.😔❤️

First I use a callus shaver, the kind with the razor blade, after that I use a foot file.

Then I use Profoot Heel Rescue Callus Blaster Exfolating Gel.

and finish up with Gold Bond Diabetic foot lotion and wear socks over my feet.  When I wake up, my heels are super soft.

You can find these on Amazon.
