@jlkz I didn't know that.  I think I'm going to just toss them and consider it a learning curve.  I've found the gummies that fit my need and I'll continue to purchase them from Amazon.

I also have a hard time swallowing those giant calcium tablets. I've tried the gummies but didn't care for them. I've finally found the "petites" smaller calcium+D3 tablets at Walgreens and they are much easier to swallow. I didn't see the post that Bayer has the petites available on Amazon. I paid $12 for 200 tablets so I'm sure they may be less expensive on Amazon.

I use a pill/tablet/caplet splitter for my larger supps. This one from Amazon cuts 10 caplets at once:
