Summer being hungry mosquito and other biting bugs time, I thought I would mention a find a woman at work told me about - Burt's Bees Res-Q Ointment. It works! I've had several mosquito bites lately where I get a dime size hive, redness and itching. I really didn't think this could work, but I put some of the ointment on and the hive, redness and itching went away. Hydrocortizone never worked this well; I usually have itching for several days after a bite. If you are like me and mosquitos find you delicious and sometimes you miss a spot spraying repellent, you might want to try Burt's. Kroger has it in the natural foods section, Whole Foods carries it, and I think CVS does, too. It's also available online.
