I'm just throwing this out there, as thankfully you have a doctor's appointment coming up fairly shortly.  Have you ever experienced issues with anxiety? I have had problems with anxiety or panic attacks and when I get this, I feel shortness of breath.  Best wishes to you and I sincerely hope that your doctor gets to the bottom of this!

@AngelPuppy1

Many times when a person gets over anxious they start to Hyperventilate. That is when one might see someone have them breath into a bag. That traps carbon dioxide from being expelled, thus helping to get oxygen/carbon dioxide balanced again.

Having been diagnosed in the hospital with Anxiety/Panic Attack Disorder, erratic heart rate is pretty common. With that can come Hypoventilation, not getting enough oxygen to your lungs.

Many times either of the above can be a Catch-22. The more concerned one gets the greater the problems becomes. It helps if a person knows how to respond to either Hypo or Hyper Ventilation.

Re: Breathing problems .

[ Edited ]

No my breathing is impaired all of the time now , like walking up stairs or any physical activity more than walking around house , i am sure it would be worse if i had anxiety for sure. The only reason i am trying ro wait is a General Practioner is not being to do much for me , unless i get a CT scan before seeing the Pulmonary doctor , i did have xrays of lungs a few weeks ago, i live in a small town , where the specialist travel to the hospital on certain days  i have been monitoring  my oxygen levels and if it would get low i will go before 1/26 .

@hckynut I have no idea. Fortunately, I have not had much of a need for this since the asthma I had earlier in my life is no longer a problem.

@MW in Iowa  Your symptoms could also be caused by a thyroid disfunction. Unless another disagnosis is clear, whoever you see should probably do a thyroid work-up.
