Hi, I have dense breasts (didn't know until they had to put that on the mammogram report recently) and I asked to have an ultrasound with breast cancer in my family. They said both were fine, but I had 2 small cysts in one breast. I didn't give it much thought but then read how uncommon that is in menopause (I'm 2 years in) without estrogen.
I am having another in 6 months with my regular mammogram but has anyone heard of that? I know cysts aren't cancer but it still seemed odd that I would still have them and I never had an ultrasound before except to have a fibroidnoma out 12 years ago.
Thanks for any input, it's always unsettling to have these things done but nessecary.
