Have one...bought it from same guy that sells this current one....many yrs ago....never could use it.  Husband tried it a few yrs back and after while it began to hurt and cause wrist pain so he stopped and then was fine.  I wouldn't recommend it at all.  One of many things I bought that turned out to be a big waste of money.  It was cheaper many yrs back when I got mine BUT still if it doesn't work and injures you it's a waste of money IMO.

That blade gives me the shivers - can not watch the presentation.  I'd de-cap myself if I ever tried it.  Safer products out in the marketplace.

Tried one at the gym and I couldn't make it work.Some people can and they say it really uses core strength.

I have one and use it sometimes.  When I first got it, I could only count to 10 before I lost the rhythm.  Now I can count to 110 on each arm before losing the rhythm.  I think it does work, if you use it.  I wonder how those people on TV can use it for such a long period of time though.

@Dar321

I have had the regular(big) and the yellow pair(small) of the Body Blade for many years now. Would you be more specific about the word "work"?  What are your expectations of this equipment to do for you, are whomever plans to use it?

For me? It does everything I expected it to do for my purposes, and I feel it was/is well worth the money I spent to buy all 3 Body Blades.

Well, I tried using this years ago and I just couldn't!  I guess this old person that I am just couldn't find enough upper body strength to deal with it. Bummer.  I walk a lot outside so my lower body is in great shape but not my upper body.  I need strength training for sure!  The search is on.  lol

I have one and I like it. You can pick it up and use it for just a few minutes for some variety in your upper body routine.

@Dar321I have used it for nearly 20 years at the recommendation of my chiropractor due to nerve damage in my arms.  He cautioned me about the further damge that could happen by keeping up my workouts with the heavier weights I was using because of it.  I have always worked out and am fit and very musuclar .  While it's not the only workout I do, I have maintained everything I had before and then some.  The good thing is you choose the level of resistance best for you. It's so much fun to use also.  Years ago a personal trainer I had worked out a 45 minute workout to replace my usual one) with the body blade and the smaller yellow cardio blades that @hckynut says he has.   I have used them consistently all that time and never tire of them.  It's definitely worth the money spent.

Also, I would say if you're the type of person who doesn't work out regularly, just wants an easy quick fix for toning and strengthing and who gets discouraged easilty, it probably isn't for you.  Like just about any type of workout, you have to invest the time to learn how to use it and not give up when you find it too difficult!  In my lifetime I have tried many types of workouts over the years and have at least given each a chance before deciding it wasn't for me.
