Anyone take this? Seems quite pricey everywhere I've looked. Where do you buy yours? tia

This is an interesting supplement. What I have read indicates the following benefits:

Lowers Lipids-Total cholesterol

Lowers BP

Increases Serotonin-so improves GI and decreases depression

May be effective against bacterial or viral infections

Reduces fat build up in liver

Commonly used to treat GI upsets

Cardio support

Immune support

I started taking about a month ago and get Sunergetic brand from Amazon. It has very good reviews. I can't say if i actually feel better.

Interesting that reports say it is useful for GI problems BUT a common side effect is GI distress?

I have been taking this for about six months, and I'm not willing to give it up because it, in tandem with Barry Sears' fish oil brought my cholesterol down. I also eat "clean" and exercise. I started it because my blood glucose was creeping up in spite of metformin.

None of these claims on any supplement are backed up, but I liked what I read on WebMD.

Andrew Lessman has a version of this and a lot of us are waiting for a full presentation and perhaps special pricing before we dive in.

As stated above, I like what I've read about it so far.  I personally don't have a cholesterol problem but I have a family history on both sides of heart disease, so I am particularly vested in maintaining good cardio vascular health.

I currently take AL's fibermucil/cholestcare twice a day.  I would be interested in adding this in at some point as well.
