Does anyone stil take a baby aspirin? Seems like it is being discouraged now unless your doc feels you should be taking it if you are high risk.

No, I was told to quit.

From what I understand and what my oncologist has said, many are taking REGULAR aspirin on their own without discussing with their doctor.
I have been on 81 mg low dose for many years at the direction of my PCP and the direction of my oncologist.
No one should take anything without discussing with their health care provider.
Big difference between regular aspirin and low dose.

I do..........doc said it won't hurt.........it's a mild blood thinner.
No problems here and like to keep it that way.

"At high risk" of what exactly?
It has been my nightly dose every night since my 1st heart attack. However!
Because of my extreme Colon bleeding issues over a 10+ year period. Any higher dose of Aspirin or any anti-inflammatory, I run a high risk of a Colon bleed, which would end up with Colonoscopy #16 for me. Possibly even more Double Balloon Enteroscopies, which are not minutes long procedures, rather hours long. Same prep as Colonoscopy.

No, my understanding is this is not recommended routinely any longer. My cardiologist doesn't recommend I take it. I had to take it for a short while after I had my heart valve repaired and then they said to stop it.

When that report came out, I stopped it, with my Drs. approval.
I had been complaining to him anyway about my blood being very thin and I bleed and bleed and bleed from the tiniest scratch.

My husband still takes baby aspirin. And he had an appointment with his Cardiologist on Thursday.

With your bleeding, did your doctor ever have you run INR /ProTime blood tests?
