BRAF gene mutation

Anyone here have a biopsy on anything that was sent for genetic testing and results came back that there is a BRAF gene mutation? How much did that result play in your decision about any treatment for possible cancer?

All my best to anyone dealing with this.

 

I had to have genetic testing, which led to other testing, and a delay in surgery while they figured it out.  Not for this gene.

 

The oncologist should be a good source of information.
