Hello, dear @jubilant. I'm so sorry to hear that Jean is having such difficulty swallowing ~ even choking spasms. I pray her medical team has figured it out, and helped to resolve it by now.

@jubilant, Just checking back.  Hope things are better today for you all.  I hope it's good news. HOpe you're getting some rest.

Just an update to let you all know that Mom should be coming home later this week or early next week.  We are keeping our fingers crossed!  She has gained much physical strength from her rehab and the swallowing seems under control now.  She will still need to be on a select diet and watch her intake of fluids as they think her pneumonia was caused by asperating fluids.  I'll let you know when she get's home.  Her apartment is all ready and waiting and she is excited.

@jubilant  Nice to see some good news.  Prayers that she continues to gather strength and has a comfortable trip back home.  I'm sure being in her own home will help in her recovery.  There's no place like home!
