Hey all, a dreary dark day here..

My quiet day of fitness here....yoga for back pain. I am not in pain, per say...only tight and I did about 45 minutes worth, then took Logan for a short walk...too muddy and snowy yet on the trial but we did a bit.

Pppmint glad you got a date...finally know some of whats going on.

Waving to everyone!

Hi! I finally did it!!!! I jogged......slowly on the treadmill for 33 min./2.5 mi.! I haven't been able to jog for that long since December. I felt sluggish and puffy around the midsection this a.m. and just needed to move...I am glad I took the risk. My foot is okay and I am going to try to keep it moving so it doesn't get stiff/sore.

Yea, Mick! Way to go!!

Hi, Fifi!

Hi, Patty, have a good workout.

Hi, Bopper. In addition to the yoga, how about the TG or reformer for your back. I like that type of equipment when I'm in need of a good stretch.

I probably won't get in a workout tonight. But TGIF, I'll do good over the weekend.

Happy weekend to all!

Mick, good news about jogging!

Ppprmint - My navy friends, now in Hawaii, loved their Virginia Beach experience. I trust you will, too. Do you enjoy historic Annapolis? I thought it was a beautiful town. I enjoy reading about your exercise routines.

Bopper, I'm happy to share we had sunshine and 80 degrees today. Hope you get the fallout this weekend from my lovely day.

Covered the afternoon shift for an office mate so I'm late getting home from work. Got caught in Friday traffic. I'll be working out on mini tramp, doing stretches and hand weights at home. Back to the gym tomorrow.

Someone mentioned NCIS -- my favorite TV show. I keep hoping the show picks up a bit. I miss Ziva David's character.

nomless, thanks for keeping us encouraged!

Have a lovely weekend. Hello to all who have been posting. I don't visit daily, but I love to ready your posts. Keeps me encouraged. 35 pounds to go!

How the heck far north are you Bopper? Dang. Don't give up the fight, Spring is hanging around out there somewhere for you. I think it was smart for you to turn to yoga for a sore back. My go-to is tai chi if I'm sore, lots of similarities and it usually does the job. You can do more tomorrow if your body gives you the go ahead.

Winter did me in and it's taken me this long to get my head out. Sorry for taking off so abruptly from here. I did some catch up reading yesterday to see how everyone's been. Judy, if you're reading here some, lick your wounds as you need and then stick a toe back in to life. Try not to get stuck. Getting un-stuck isn't a whole lot of fun.

Nomless, great for you in finding another piece of the puzzle in your quest. Way to go. Patty, take care. I suppose you're used to moving, but it's still got to be stressful. If anyone can handle it with grace and strength - I think it's gotta be you. Tony, it sounds as though you are doing well. Good, positive energy vibes. FUTURE, sounds like you are jumping back in....and busy as ever! Hi to everyone else!

I bought a ton more barre routines. Don't have weight to lose, but my legs look like they should belong on another body. Would prefer they fit better, ha. So ... fluidity, core fusion, barreamped, bootybarre, Callanetics, and Physique 57 are on my playlist. I'm thinking a couple times a week would fit nicely into my regimen. A goal anyway. I'm so jealous of you guys having the TG and pilates reformer though. Ah. Have fun on those!

Oh yeah, my brain is so small sometimes. Rosbaybee, congratulations on the new baby. Four footers add so much to our lives even when they complicate it (right Patty?!!) Your friends weren't lying to you. They are the cherries on top of our exercise routines. I think.

Hey everyone! Good to see you all and great to see canine resurface!! Yes, those 4-legged kids are hard to live without...but sure can be a lot of work...lol. Well worth it though.

Mick, so happy you can jog again!!! That had to feel good!

Ury, we lived in Va Beach for 6 years, longer than we lived anywhere. We have a house there...most of our friends are there as is our church. So if we have to move further away from the kids, we're happy it's there...our other choices were Coronado or Spain. No way could I be in another country or different coast with my son's health. I'd lose what little is left of my mind. We met in Hawaii, got married there and my son was born there. LOVED it!!!!

nomless, hope you enjoy your weekend! We have people coming to look at the house today...ay. Kind of throws a wrench in our plans.

bopper, hang in there...August is coming!Wink{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

LOVED our WOD yesterday!! It was probably one of my top 3 since I started doing OTF. We did some Snatches and stuff that was like CrossFit though...right up my alley.

Going for a run AND a bike ride this morning. It was supposed to be raining so seeing the sun rise was a wonderful surprise.

Waving to everyone!! Hope I didn't miss anyone...not intentional.

Well, I got a 4-mile run in and a killer leg work-out...box-jumps, lunges, plyo-squats, Theisman's, step-ups, etc.

On the very last jump-down into squat, my back tweaked like crazy!! It did when I was putting my shoes on this morning but then it kind of went away even though I could still feel it felt funny while running. But leave it to me to start doing yoga, and have my back go out!

Anyway, waiting for DH to finish riding the spin bike then I'm going to head out for a jog to loosen it up but leaving Lucy with him. So no W&OD trail today...I can't see me leaning over on a bike, not chancing it.

And, ury, YES! I love Annapolis, dh was asked to sit on a board at the Naval Academy so we went and stayed with him...some of our friends from Va Beach came up, they loved it too. We had a great time. We have friends that keep their boat over in the marina there that have invited us out on it, would love to do that before we leave.

I can't believe I tweaked my back!!!! {#emotions_dlg.scared}{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes} We're a mess, dh is running with his hand on his stomach so his shoulder doesn't move and he's riding the spin bike with one-arm, and me with my back, hip, and wrist...just give us walkers!!! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Morning, it's cold and dreary here. Only in the 30's and low 40's and even next week same thing...

Checking in with TG full body today, and my arms are pretty spent...

Hubby and I are going to dinner tonight for Prom. It's the high school Prom and we always have a Prom date night..

Pppmint sorry about your back. It sure is easy to do isn't it and when you'd least expect it. I hope it loosens up. Maybe a hot bath would help too. Hubbies shoulder also...ouch....

Not much else goin on in my neck of the woods....just waiting for the warmer weather to arrive and to stay!

Have a good weekend everyone.

Cananie, it's good to see you again. Patty, take care of that back. Bopper, enjoy your prom date...what a cool thing to do. 60 mon cardio done. I struggled today, even going slow. Maybe because I haven't eaten enough this morning. Better go get something.
