I'm sorry that you are dealing with this issue. My sister had a similar problem and found that adding Kefir (the liquid in the yogurt area) helped a lot. She drinks it in the evening before bed. I hope this helps.

I don't. I have had issues since I was a child. I have had many tests and nothing has shown. I eat well also. Fresh fruit and vegetables. Also, exercise regularly. No, I don't think you are bragging. Some people just apparently have better digestive systems than others!
I have not read all the replies so this may have been covered.
Sorry you've been dealing with this. Given the bolded part above, a lot of times, physical issues have emotional and/or mental components so what is it that you don't want to let go of?
examples:
grudges > forgiveness
have to be right > humility
'do it my way' > flexibility
'that's not fair' > acceptance
Wow! I realize that emotional components have a connection to a lot of physical problems we have. But I don't really think that I am here to get a psych evaluation!
That wasn't my intention but you were obviously triggered which tells me the post struck a chord and for a reason. Just sayin.
Also, it's not only about you. I usually post with the broader community in mind knowing that others who read this could be helped.

You might not like to hear this but many times eating too much fiber is the problem. It causes bloat and a myriad of symptoms.
It could be trying to use too much too fast as well while trying to lose weight. That is a pain as well.
I'm a different story somewhat and have SBS after a surgery in 2021. I'm on a "no fiber" diet and I don't have gas, bloating anything and go daily normally. A little fiber is good but I'm not a rabbit or a farm animal and need to chew like a cow.. Take a vitamin supplement if you feel you will be deficient in nutrients. or a nutritional drink.
Try it for a few days, give it time and your constipation just might stop. Go slowly though withdrawing the broccoli and veggies.
This is my opinion, my experience only. No more gas or bloat.

@AngelPuppy1 My husband had an issue with meds when he was scheduled for a colonoscopy. He had a prescription medication for his prep and it did not work. The doctor suggested he use Mirilax daily in his coffee.
Walmart carries a generic which has the same ingredient as the name brand product.

I think I do! But how much is a lot, do you think? Do they base it on our weight, age or what??? I know I don't drink as much in the winter as I do in the summer. Thanks. I seem to have the same issues all year long though!
@AngelPuppy1 I think it's recommended to drink at least 8 glasses a day. I average 3 -4 16oz bottles so sometimes I fall short. I just know I can have issues when I slack off. It's easy to do as opposed to dealing with meds/side effects. Hope you can get some relief!

Thank you! I at times tend to fall short. Plus, there's the issue of drinking a lot and then having the issue of that... whoops...

I also read this. People think - well, some do -- that the more fiber the better - when often this is not the case. My gastroenterologist said this is true. You can really block yourself up ingesting too much. But finding the balance-- that can be difficult. I don't even know any more. I have tried so many things and so many ways of eating. Glad this way is working for you ryou! And thank you for your post!

No --- "this did not strike a chord for a reason."! I just didn't care for the assumption! But, let's just let this go, o.k.??? I thought this was about me, since the post was started about me and I was asking for people's opinions about these meds and their experiences. However, I am not here to argue, but if I feel someone is making untrue statements or trying to analyze me, then I will say so. Thank you for your post.

I never heard of Kefit, but I will certainly look into it. Thank you for the suggestion.
