Re: Anyone out there with NO FINGERPRINTS

Re the extreme expense of clearances: While discussing this topic, another colleague chimed in with this funny line. "If a janitor with a Top Secret clearance and an MIT grad without a clearance both show up for the same position, the company will take the janitor and train him." A joke, yes, but there is some truth to it.

[Of course, there are janitors and there are janitors. I once wrote on this board about a relative through marriage who arrived in the U.S. from Asia Minor (Turkey) in the early 1900s with 15 cents in his pocket and a Turkish rug. He put himself through Harvard by being a janitor there, and eventually became head of their Plato department. Check out Raphael Demos. That was his story.}

Bonnie, all you need to do is to find a "clyde" and you'll be in business!! {#emotions_dlg.lol}

Funny you should say this. We are square dancers and when we first started out taking lessons my hubby was always going the wrong way and literally bumping into people. So he was nicknamed COLLIDE. We are sometimes known as Bonnie and Collide. Works for me. He has gotten better with age on the dance floor. We are now into ballroom.
