Re: Anyone follow a paleo diet?

I agree with Quse and Prettygerl: I did what Quse did in terms of knocking out or eliminating those same foods-and in the process, really learned to listen to my body. In the end, how a food makes me feel outweighs the taste. There are fantastic alternatives for virtually anything you can think of.

Re: Anyone follow a paleo diet?

Whole30 is Paleo.

There isn't a single definition of Paleo.  Each eating plan has it's own opinions, spin, tweaks, etc. regarding two of the most controversial food items under the Paleo umbrella:  legumes and dairy.

Whole30 is what you want if you are trying to see if diet is the cause of something.  It's one of the most comprehensive elmination diets.

It's not easy and it's not those who do not like to cook as there is hardly anything pre-made that is Whole30 compliant.

But, as Melissa Hartwig likes to say, cancer is hard, Whole30 isn't.

I did a Whole30 in November 2014 and then immediately started Primal Blueprint and have been on that ever since.

I read/follow other programs (like Fat Burning Man, Paleo Woman, etc.) that support this way of eating.

ITA.  Very difficult for a lot to do.  But what we put in our bodies, how we take care of our body makes all the difference in the world as to how we live our lives, the quality of our life.  We cannot control much, but we can control how we fuel ourselves,
