@Naturesbeauty That's awesome! Good for you.
Years and years ago I used it and lost 25 pounds. There was a local meeting place and that is how I got involved with it. Didn't care to go to the meetings/group sessions, but did so for a while.
You are correct, it is about portion control. Hard for me when I have a dish of chocolate ice cream facing me, but otherwise, I have finally (I hope!) overcome the problem with eating more than I need to. You can have your cake and eat it too! ha! Just watch the portion.
I hope you will check back periodically and update us with your success. Love success stories. ![]()

Just wanted to encourage your weight loss, to a fellow Spoonie. I also use a cane and move slowly, but weight loss is possible through just food. Small portions and stop eating at 7 pm if you sleep at 10. You'll be a little hungry but that's ok. The Fast Five reallly works too.

@Helen Bach I've heard that many times. In fact, I know some people who do NO exercise at all and have had no problem losing weight by watching their intake. Personally, I prefer to exercise and watch what I eat. Think it is probably healthier (for me) that way. ![]()

I am glad that you lost 10 pounds. I had tried NutriSystem a few years ago. I liked it. The problem I had, was that my husband got home from work before I did. So he would make dinner. So I would end up eating the dinner he made.
I liked the fact that everything was the correct portion. And I never seemed to be hungry after I ate.
Keep up the good work.

Years ago I ordered NutriSystem and after one month I decided I could do just as well purchasing my own meals and snacks. What you order from them is only part of the food you need. Frozen meals in the grocery store are perfect portions and taste better than NutriSystem's. Add fresh vegetables, fruits and protein snacks and you are set. I lost 50 pounds just by reducing calories. No rocket science here, but important each person does what works for them. I was determined so I didn't need a support group.
