In the following order:

mammogram, renal ultrasound, MRI with contrast, colonoscopy, filiing a tooth, root canal, and does the fun ever end?  I'm only 60!!!  Any suggestions on how to not dread the summer?

Re: What I'm doing this summer

Your health is your priority!

Each of those items is a pain but will hopefully not have any major consequences.

A few may ding your pocketbook a bit.

I would plan some activities to relax and take your mind off all these "must-do."

Perhaps a weekend getaway (beach, mountains?), a visit to some gardens, a visit to the zoo, tea with some girlfriends...

Or just curl up with some hot chocolate and warm pjs and watch QVC all day!

Grin and bear it! I'm always grateful I have the money, time and decent health to have the procedures done. Just remember, not everybody is so fortunate, health care in this country is a privilege and dental care is a luxury of privilege. IMO

Do something 'fun' after each test...hopefully the outcome of each procedure will be good!

Just be glad when you get each one done, is what I suggest. I don't like having tests, procedures done either, but like another poster said, thank God for decent insurance and that we can do it. The earlier something is found, the better.

I hope they all turn out well.

The older we get the more tests etc. we need. I've had summers like that.

Re: What I'm doing this summer

The fact that you’re able to wake up each day to do these things…is a positive.

Always look for the positive…as hard as it may seem…just do it!

You’re in our prayers. You’ll be alright.
