Re: Any Highmark customers with UPMC doctors?

Happy - She's NOT Medicare yet.

Frannie - If I were you and if I had been having routine mammo reports for the last 5 years, I'd research doctors and change if you can find a doc willing to wander into the political mess the insurance companies have put you in.

I do know it's sort of traumatic. I just made the decision this morning to change radiologists to avoid a 45 minute drive to the practice I have been using since the 1960's. Even doing that is upsetting, but sibce I know it's not going to be all that long until I'm going to have to rely on others for transportation, I'm working to concentrate as much medical as I can within a short distance from home. I hate it!

Did you bother to read the post #4 that I quoted in post #5 and then answered? Apparently not.

You're right- I didn't read every word you wrote . try some shorter paragraphs, so your main points become more obvious.

I did go back and read #5 and it still sounds to me as if you're saying they have to cover her because she's Medicare. And I used to be able to read.

Try reading #4. Or is that too hard for you?

Why do some of you have to be so mean?
